Briarwood Elementary School - Oklahoma City, OK
New school building constructed in August 2014, on a highly accelerated schedule, after previous school building was destroyed by an EF5 tornado. Eight of twenty-six classrooms are safe rooms, with reinforced concrete masonry unit walls and FEMA rated doors and a shutter which acts as an emergency exit on each one. The walls of the 65,000 square feet building can withstand winds of up to 250 miles per hour.

Fairview Elementary School - Spencer, IA
Located in Spencer Iowa, Fairview Elementary school has undergone construction to expand and renovate the existing school building. The expansion will include additional classrooms to be built as well as modernizing their existing HVAC systems. The makeup air unit will provide required ventilation and the incorporated energy conservation wheel will save energy.

Jenks High School - Jenks, OK
The 91,580 square foot Math & Science Center, located in Jenks, Oklahoma, includes ten modern math classrooms, fourteen flexible science teaching studios, a student health center, a 200 seat multi-purpose meeting room and a 105 seat planetarium. The Jenks Math and Science Center is Oklahoma’s first K-12 facility to earn LEED Gold Certification.

Michigan State University - East Lansing, MI
This East Lansing, MI university is in the midst of the second largest construction and renovation in their history. The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) will be a new national user facility for nuclear science, which will provide beams of rare isotopes in order to better understand the physics of nuclei, nuclear astrophysics and fundamental interactions. The Bott Building for Nursing Education and Research will house the first geothermal heating and cooling system. The new building incorporates sustainable environmental design and will seek LEED certification.

Plaza Towers Elementary School

Plaza Towers Elementary School - Moore, OK
New school building constructed in August 2014, after previous school building was destroyed by an EF5 tornado. The new brick building includes a designated Federal Emergency Management Agency-approved safe area with four classrooms and a hallway where students can congregate during severe weather. Designed to prevent storm debris from flying into the safe area, the school is equipped with a hallway without windows.
